Rosemary Popcorn

Popcorn with wine? Heck yes. Especially when you’re curled up on the couch watching a show with someone dear. Munch it alone or, for a casual gathering, serve it alongside various appetizers like crudités and dips, cheeses, cured meats, and olives. This is a binge-worthy treat, and putting it together only takes a few minutes. I promise you’ll be hooked on this.

Rosemary Popcorn

Serves 2
Prep time: 5 minutes.
Cook time: 2 minutes
Difficulty: super easy

4 teaspoons (20 milliliters) finely minced fresh rosemary
3 tablespoons (45 milliliters) olive oil
1 microwave bag (3-2.8 ounces/79grams) unsalted, plain popcorn
1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) butter
¼ teaspoon (1.25 milliliters) salt, or to taste

 Directions

  1. At least 2 hours and up to 4 days before serving, heat rosemary and olive oil in a small pan until the oil reaches a simmer. Lower heat and gently simmer for 2 minutes. Set aside. Cover with plastic wrap if not using within a few hours.

  2. Pop the popcorn according to package instructions. While it pops, combine butter and olive oil and heat until butter melts. Transfer the popped corn to a serving bowl, sprinkle with salt, and toss with the butter and oil mixture. Taste and adjust the salt if needed, and enjoy.
