Curried Salad Dressing

Make sure and taste the dressing as you go.

Curried Chicken Salad Dressing

1/3 cup Hellman’s (also called Best Foods) mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
1-1/2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
juice from 1 lemon
zest from half a lemon
2 tablespoons curry powder
1 tablespoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon sumac
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard powder
1/4 teaspoon chile powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom

  1. Mix all ingredients together and taste. Add more curry, lemon juice, or chile powder as needed. Dressing can be made up to three days in advance and refrigerated. It is also delicious served with raw vegetables, iced shrimp, or apple wedges.
